This was a full week at ICTE...but as our priests know, Sabbatical is not a vacation! As Saint John Paul II said, “Permanent formation is a requirement of the priest’s own faithfulness to his ministry.” The theme of the week was imagination. We enjoyed a full week of intellectual stimulation with Sara Magister, our very own director, Fr. Edward Linton, O.S.B. and Fr. Nicolas Steeves, S.J. We also had a very engaging meeting with Bishop Paul Tighe at the Pontifical Council of Culture. Beside spending time in the classroom and taking an academic approach to the role of imagination and how it guides our ministry, we got out into Rome to visit the art of Caravaggio and the Spada Museum. We also had an amazing tour of Saint Peter's Basilica offered by Seminarian Alex Wyvill. Che bella!
